2004 saw a large expansion to the EvilSponge roster, as we welcomed several new Minions to the fold.

It was also a pretty darned good year for music, especially here in Atlanta, where the local Indie Rock scene seems to be undergoing a bit of a renaissance.

Which brings us to our band of the year: The Orphins. There is a consensus recommendation for their debut album, Drowning Cupid, and there is a consensus that their live shows are phenomenal, although the Minions could not get organized enough to agree on one show as The Orphins' best of the year. Typical.
